!POR FIN! Someone I'm related to!

Hola Ronnie.
I didn't have time to stick more names that I had found, but now I will.
We are related threw Cristobal but also his grandparents, Juan Gutirrez de Mendoza and Ana Camacho. Cristobal's father, Salvador Gutierres de Mendoza 1660. The information I found out about his family was, which you probably already have or you can also correct me if I'm mistaken, the parents of Juan were Francisco Gutierres de Mendoza Rubio 1594 y Francisca Hurtado 1599. The parents of Francisco were Francisco Gutierres de Mendoza Rubio y Ana Gonzalez Florida. Francisca's father was Rodrigo Olivares.
Ana Camacho's parents were Silvestre Camacho 1585 y Teresa Gonzalez de Hermosillo 1589.

Hi Sophia,
Don't be too surprised :-) -- I too descend from Francisco Gutierrez de Mendoza and Ana Gonzalez Florida.
I'll see if I can send you more info tonight.
Saludos!

Hi Sophia:

Do you want another relative? I am a direct paternal line descendent of
Juan Gonzalez de Hermosillo II, married to Ana Gonzalez Florida II. Juan was
a brother to Teresa Gonzalez de Hermosillo. Que te parece prima?

Iam sure, like Ronnie says, " if you are from Los Altos, you are probably
related to the rest of us, we are all related"

Hello primos,

I thought it was a given that everyone from Los Altos descended in some way
from Juan Gonzalez de Hermosillo II and Ana Gonzalez Florida II (La Vieja
del Concilio). :) I know I do from several of my ancestors.
My maternal grandfather (Ines Gonzalez) descends directly from Diego
Gonzalez Rubio (Ana Gonzalez Florida II's brother), children of Francisco
Gutierrez Rubio and Ana Gonzalez Florida I.

Does anyone know the legend of Ana Gonzalez Florida II (La Vieja del
Concilio)?

Rick

Hi Rick:

You are almost right, but not everyone in Los Altos descended from Juan
Gonzalez de Hermosillio. According to "Jalostotitlan a Traves de Los
Siglos" there were other founding families in Los Altos besides the
Gonzalez de Hermosillo, to mention just a few:

Andres de Estrada Bocanegra y su esposa Luisa Flores de Rubí.
Diego Alonso y su esposa Paula de Torres y su hermano Nicolas Ramirez
Francisco Muñoz de La Barba.
Juan y Blas Becerra.
Diego Gonzalez y Polonia de Torres.
Juan Jimenez de Castro
Bernabe de Olivarez.
Bernabe y Blas Ramirez.
Juan Acevez
Silvestre Camacho y su esposa Teresa de Hermosillo.
and others...all of these just in Jalos.

What is the legend of Ana Gonzalez Florida II? I have never heard of it.

Hola Sandra,

That would be great if you find anything more about them. I'm so excited now!

Hola Primo!

I am surprised, because of circumstances, my family was reduced to me and my brother and sister and now I actually have found PRIMOS. After looking and not finding this really makes me HAPPY!

My husband has the following direct line ancestry -

Juan Gonzalez de Hermosillo (I do not have a spouse for this individual).
Father of Ana Gonzalez married to Diego Sanchez-Carranza-
parents of Ana Gonzalez de Hermosillo born abt 1631 and married to Luis Gonzalez Dominguez
parents of Bernardo Gonzalez who married Josepha Sandobal Lorano (June 18 1680 in Nochistlan).

>From this marriage I have two children Melchora Losano Gonzalez and Joseph Gonzalez Losano.

Are these individuals members of the Gonzalez de Hermosillo family that you have been discusing?

Thank you,
Pat and Tino Corbera
