Just a simple question.
I understand that the present method probably is quicker and saves time for the original document-recorder person in 99% of the time; but WHY does that person (who creates these documents) NOT bother to include the names of the parents of the newlyweds ???? If the parent's names are not on the record or illegible, that can be noted on the IGI just as easily.

Hola Todos, how is everybody doing ? Fine I hope. My I tried to contact Guillermo Padilla Origel about his article in www.somosprimos.com concerning Los Padilla Davila in the July 2004 issue ,but his e-mail was no good. My ancestors are Juan Padilla married to Petrona de Siordia en feb 14 in 1616 in Aguascalientes. I was trying to figure out who were Juan Padilla 's ancestors. I was confused in the way Guillermo Padilla Origel set it up. I'm just really slow and confused, what makes it worse in Jose Luis Vazquez's book GENEALOGIA DE NOCHISTLAN,page 191 he states Juan Padilla (y Delgadillo).
