Yes, it is in Aguascalientes, near the capital city Aguascalientes. My husband has ancestors from Rincon de Romos, and that is where I found it on the map.

Rincon de Romos is in the State of Aguascalientes, just north of the city of
Aguascalientes.

Rincon de Romos is in Aguascalientes. Aguascalientes was, however, part of
the state of Zacatecas.

In the the first mexican constitution, promulgued in 1824, the current territory of the State of Aguascalientes was part of Zacatecas, desiganated as Partido de Aguascalientes, untlil a low proclaimed its seaparation in 1835. Nowdays, the municipalities that conform the State of Aguascalientes are:
Aguascalientes.
Asientos
Calvillo
Cosío
Jesús María
Pabellón de Arteaga
Rincón de Romos
San José de Gracia
Tepezalá
