How does one sign up if one doesn't speak Spanish? Just walk me
through the words so I can sign up. In case you're wondering how I
can research in the Spanish language when I can't read it, I search
using my family names. When I get a hit, I make a copy and translate
it later. Simple, time consuming, and not very accurate. But it is
all I can do.

Ignorance is not Bliss

Dear Ranchos Members,   I thought I would share some of my musings and findings. Yesterday I called my sister-in law to share some information regarding one of our common ancestors going back 4 generations in Tlachichila, Zac. and also to ask a question about some Mexican History regarding this region. Question about Researching in a Parish

Hello all,

Have any of you ever done research in the actual Parish in Mexico?

I am asking, because in about 3 weeks, I will be going to Mexico. And
if possible I will try find some information at the parish and
cemetary level.

So could anyone give me some pointers, on what to expect? Or the best
way to approach the subject?
