Hello all NR members,

For more than 5 years guadalajaradispensas.com has been a very valuable resource for genealogy research of ancestors from Jalisco, Aguascalientes and Zacatecas

If you go to that URL, you get this message:

"NOTICE: This domain name expired on 8/31/2017 and is pending renewal or deletion."

Also says:

"Welcome to: guadalajaradispensas.com
This Web page is parked for FREE, courtesy of GoDaddy.com."

Any insights?

I haven't seen what you are talking about and this is the link I use.. are we talking about the same link?

However, if I remember correctly, wasn't the content hosted on a blog? If so, if anyone has a direct link to the blog, either Katy and/or myself can host a link for the www.guadalajaradispensas.com blog on our sites...

Erlinda,

This URL used to be the site where quite a few LDS films with marriage dispensations indexed by generous volunteers were shared.

Please visit the link Katy Brecht Quesada is kindly providing.

Many thanks for the link. I didn't know there were some backups.

I have contacted the owner, and I am working with her to restore the website.

Rosalinda

God bless you Rosalinda!

It'd be fantastic to have the site restored as it is a formidable genealogical research resource.

Many thanks to C. C. and to each and every one who collaborated to build this incredible useful tool.

Rubén

I would also add to this comment a big thank you and also to ask if you
need funding to keep it going. It's only fair that we could contribute to
keep it going indefinitely.
If we can contribute, just let us know what's needed and I for one am
willing to make a contribution.
