The Family History Library has microfilmed civil records from 1879 on, and not before. In the birth records there is a gap of 9 years, until 1888, for the rest of the records. The marriage records show the same gap. Either the records do not exist, or were not filmed.

Civil records may exist in a nearby community, or earlier records may not exist.

The extracted baptismal records show only one child for this couple, however, only two microfilms have been extracted, thus there may be others. The listing of microfilms suggests there may be gaps in the extant records.

It is not uncommon for children to be the church records, and not the civil records. They may be in the civil records, but not the church records. Sometimes they are absent from both, but you can find marriage records, so you know the children exist.

Ancestry.com has extracted civil records for many communities in Mexico. If you do have a subscription you can use ancestry.com at many public libraries and also at the LDS Family History Centers for free.
