Does anyone have any genealogical information on Leobardo Reynoso Estrada? He was the governor of Zacatecas between 1944-1950.

Or does anyone have any of the films for Mexico City death records? He died May 2, 1993 at the age of 91 in Mexico city.

I would greatly appreciate any help I can get!

According to this article, Leobardo Reynoso's last name was Gutierrez, not Estrada and he was born in Juchipila, Zacatecas on 18 January 1902, son of Brigido Reynoso and Maria Gutierrez.

That would make him this person:

There is then a Brigido Reynoso born in Zacatecas in 1882, son of Santos Reynoso and Aurelia Rodriguez, who is a pretty good candidate for being his father.

Arturo,

Thank you for the article. I believe I am having trouble locating information on Leobardo because of the discrepancy in his actual name. I have seen him referred to as Reynoso Estrada and Reynoso Rodriguez - but never Reynoso Gutierrez. My mother has spoken of Leobardo on several occasions. She recalls that her grandmother would speak of Leobardo as a child growing up due to an apparent family relationship. She specifically recalls that he is Reynoso Estrada.

The article you share definitely provides other information that needs to be considered.

Muchísimas gracias!
